Post Matric Scholarship Scheme This educational assistance is being provided to enable students studying above class 10, to continue their education without financial constraints and to increase the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) of Adi Dravidar students in higher education. The expenditure incurred for the implementation of this scheme is shared by the Union and State Governments in the ratio of 60:40. To avail scholarship under this scheme, the annual income of the parent/guardian should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh. For Adi Dravidar students studying in recognized courses above class 10 in recognized educational institutions Tamil Nadu, educational fees and academic allowances are credited to the students' bank accounts by the Government as scholarship. |

Overseas Scholarship In order to encourage Adi Dravidar, Scheduled Tribes, Christian Adi Dravidar students to pursue postgraduate and doctoral research studies in educational institutions abroad, the scheme is implemented. To avail scholarship under this scheme, the annual income limit of the parent /Guardian should not exceed Rs.8.00 lakh. 10 students are selected given scholarship upto lakh per annum and Rs.36.00 depending on the country and course of study. Further, only one person from a family can avail scholarship under this scheme Moreover, students are given coaching through TAHDCO, for clearing the qualifying exams such as TOEFL / IELTS/ GRE/ GMAT a prerequisite for getting admission in most of the educational institution abroad |

This award is awarded to Adi Dravidar, Scheduled Tribes and Adi Dravidar Converted to Christianity students who has been secured 60 percentage and above marks in the First attempt in under Graduate, Post Graduate and professional courses.

To reduce the dropouts and to increase enrollment of the Adi Dravidar and Scheduled Tribe girl students in Government / Government aided schools and to help them to continue their studies from III to V and VI standard incentives are provided. Further from 2013-2014 academic year onwards, the scheme has been extended to the girl students studying in VII & VIII Standard.
